It's been crazy over the past couple months.
Psycho Chicks Anonymous is out of post and has been submitted to festivals. This past week "Intervention", a short horror film we did in July, became available for viewing online. I've been up to my eyeballs in making body parts for a film I've agreed to do this winter. I still have two of the three feral kittens, and a week ago I rescued three more very domesticated kittens who were just dumped off at a gas station on a rainy night.
Oh, and I also turned 38.
I'm not sure exactly when women go through mid-life crisis, but I'll admit that I have been feeling anxious lately. However, it has little to do with my years and more to do with planning the years ahead of me. I love the direction my life is going, but there is always that little nagging thought of someday biting off more than I can chew and choking on it. Then again, I'm not the type who is quick to shy away from a challenge.
